In memory of Abby

Good-bye Abby

It is with deep sadness we report that Abby died on Jan. 10, 2011. For almost ten years she filled our home with love, fun, joy and happiness. Abby never met anyone she didn't like, and no one ever met Abby who didn't like her.

What more can we say.
Good-bye dear friend.

A ride and a walk on this last full day of summer

This is the last full day of summer and I want to go for a ride in the car, after refusing to go for a walk, I did get a ride in my RV. We went to one of my favorite places to walk, the county fairgrounds; it has lots of great smells, a lake to get wet in and shady areas to walk. See how happy I am; I think this is the best I have felt in a long time, thanks to my visit to Purdue.

My visit to Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine

I went to Purdue and after four days I was allowed to go back home. I made two new friends, Melissa and Dr. Betsy. I miss them but as you can see I was very anxious and happy to be going home.

I am eating and even wanted to go on a walk today. I am back to being the Indiana Walker.

I think I was picked for Purdue's sculpture at their School of Veterinary Medicine.

Not for a football game, but to get the best of care at their Veterinary Hospital.

Abby's 12th Birthday, August 24, 2010

Today is my special day. I got a bath that made my hair all curly. I like my new pretty pink collar. Later I got a Happy Birthday message made with peanut butter; that didn't stay on the plate very long, yummy. Now I need to stare at my mama until she gives me a couple of my new biscuits.

I feel good

I can't do this unless I feel good.
Those new pills must be working.
